Process
From your first idea to the records at your door: what you go through with us, what you receive at each step, and what happens at the plant in the meantime.
- 1
Configure your project
Tell us what you have in mind in the configurator: format, colour, sleeve, labels and extras. Not sure about something? We go through it with you, then send you a quote.

- 2
Order confirmation and payment
Once you accept the quote, you receive an order confirmation and a down payment invoice for 100% of the order. Your project starts as soon as it is paid and we have your audio and artwork.

At the plant
Your audio is mastered for vinyl if needed and cut into a lacquer disc in real time. From the lacquer, the metal stampers that will press your records are made.

A few weeks later
Test pressings
A few test pressings arrive at your chosen delivery address: the first records pressed from your stampers.

Your approval
Listen to the test pressings and tell us what you think. As soon as you approve them, the main pressing starts.
At the plant
Labels, sleeves and inserts are printed. Your records are pressed, each one is checked at quality control, then sleeved and packed.

A few weeks later
Delivery
Your records are delivered to the address you chose.

Final invoice
The final invoice settles the exact number of copies delivered. Pressing is a physical process and quality control sets aside any copy that is not right, so the count is never exact: up to 10% more or fewer on runs of up to 1,000 copies, and a few dozen copies on larger runs. You pay for what you receive.

All in all, pressing usually takes six to eight weeks. It changes with the seasons, with the configuration and with the number of records, and we share your timeline as soon as we know a bit more about your project.
