A simple white paper sleeve with a round window. Light, and the most affordable way to pack a disc.

Plastic sleeve
A clear plastic sleeve with a closing flap, so the printed disc shows through.

Card wallet
A printed card sleeve the disc slides into. Slim, and ideal for promos and mailings.

Digipak
A card case that opens like a book, with a clear tray holding the disc. Four or six panels, one or two CDs, with or without a booklet.

Printing the disc
The disc face is printed from the outer edge down to the clear ring around the hole, or only on the silver.
Offset
Full colour, for photographs, gradients and fine detail. Can take a gloss varnish.
Screen print
Up to six solid inks, including Pantone and metallic colours. Best for type and bold graphics.
On a white base
Colours look as they do on paper. The usual choice for photographs.
On the silver
The metal shows through the ink and gives it a shine. Striking with one or two colours.
Artwork and audio
Templates and specifications for the disc face, carton sleeve, digipak and booklet are on the templates page. For audio, a DDP image is the standard master; a finished audio CD works too.
